The Grosse Ile Boar's Head Festival is a 400-person community event with full orchestra, an original score, a choir of 40-50, and many moving moments.
It begins in a medieval community where the slaying of the boar represents Christ's victory over sin and death. It then transforms into a full-blown Christmas pageant that envelops you in the story of Christ's birth. Featuring Mary, Joseph, Herod, Rachel, kings, shephers, angels and more, this is a once-every-four-years production that you don't want to miss!
