God doesn’t call the prepared, He prepares the called. Is God calling you to get prepared? Your Church is looking for those called to put their gifts into action. Jesus always needs disciples to carry out the mission of His Church.
Feel a tug in your heart? You can learn more about how you can serve, what plans we have for our future ministry, and whether you are called to walk with the youth by joining us at:
St. Joseph’s Parish Office
2565 Third Street, Trenton
on June 25 from 6:30-7:45 PM.
Give the Spirit a chance to work in your heart!
The Mission: Empower the next generation.
As an adult team leader, your duty will be to lead or assist in the running of youth programs, formulate connections with the youth by listening and being attentive to their needs, foster a loving and understanding environment where everyone’s faith can grow, be open to the workings and influences of the spirit in your own heart, and give feedback to your FOP (Family of Parishes) coordinator to determine what works and what doesn’t. Your job will not be to do more work for the youth, it will be to make a bigger impact on the youth. Secure the future of your parish by securing the future of your youth.
Foster a new community.
As an adult team leader, you will become more than just a volunteer, you will be welcomed into a fraternal community of brothers and sisters seeking to lift one another up through ministry and cooperation. There will be ample opportunities to
develop relationships with your fellow team leaders, brainstorm new ideas, share resources and aid, and open our hearts to one another to allow the spirit to flow through us all. There is more to ministry than lifting others up, for God shall raise us up as well. Love shall raise us all up to Christ.
