Weekly Bible Study Begins January 24

Besides prayerful meditation on scripture and attentive listening when it is read at Mass, one of the most effective ways to grow in understanding and love for Sacred Scripture is to join a Bible Study group. 

You are invited to join the  Group Bible Study that meets to discuss the Sunday Readings, which will be proclaimed at the next Eucharistic liturgy, so that your faith journey can be better shared and deepened.

Reading the Bible in a group and listening to others share what a passage means to them is an excellent way to learn from others and to open our minds and hearts to the Holy Spirit. Those of you who have taken part in a group discussion know how exciting it is when someone shared an insight that you never thought of before and a new dimension and challenge opened before you to rethink everything from a new perspective. This is a kind of conversion, a change of mind and heart.
