Lenten Service Opportunities

Rice Bowls - Each Lent, Catholic families unite to put their faith into action through prayer, fasting and almsgiving. Through CRS Rice Bowl, families learn about how our sisters and brothers across the globe overcome hardships like hunger and malnutrition, and how through Lenten alms, we have the power to make the world a better place for all. Rice Bowls are available in the Gathering Space. Please fill it with change or bills and return it the week after Easter.

EDGE Retreat Service Project - On March 21 our Confirmation Level I, II and III students will be attending a retreat at St. Frances Cabrini Church. Before the Retreat our students will decorate and fill bags for the homeless. We are in need of several items to fill these bags. If you are able to help please donate one or more of these items below between now and March 13. Leave your donated items in baskets in the Gathering Space and the main office.

• Socks
• 8 oz. water bottles/drink pounches
• Gloves
• Travel size tissues
• Protein bars
• Cheese and crackers
• Snack cookies of cakes

Easter Baskets - We will be collecting Easter Baskets for local shelters housing women and children. The children in these shelters would most likely not even get a candy bar. Please bring the baskets to the Parish Office or Gathering Space by Palm Sunday. We will deliver them that week.
