This position allows an opportunity to assist the pastor in helping the parishioners understand, revitalize and deepen their faith by offering on-going Adult Faith Formation programs, deepening their understanding of Sacred Scripture by studying the Sunday readings, and assist the Parish in developing its vision of becoming and continually growing into an evangelizing faith community. Many opportunities for spiritual renewal are provided to bring about in parishioners an enthusiasm for the faith in order to freely share it with others.
Director of Finance & Administration
As Director of Finance & Administration, I assist the Pastor with all financial matters of the Parish. Other responsibilities include managing all the campus buildings and provide professional and pastoral support to the Parish Staff.
Christian Service Director
The Christian Service Director serves as a staff advisor to the commissions and subgroups to provide guidance for seasonal projects. I network with other parishes and vicariates to provide service beyond the parish. I also provide support to social service organizations and assist the direction of service to those in financial need.
Director of Liturgy and Music
I am responsible for overseeing all of the music ministries within the parish to include leading the parish community in sung prayer each week. I work directly with the Worship Commission, the Liturgy Planning Committee and our Pastor to coordinate liturgy preparation.
Director of Religious Formation
Cheryl is responsible for giving guidance and spiritual direction to the catechetical staff (catechists) and to the children and their families as they journey through faith. Develop the process for the catechetical learning to promote growth. Engages all ages in prayer toward their relationship with God.
Administrative Assistant / RE Support
As an Administrative Assistant, I provide general secretarial assistance to the Pastoral Staff and parishioners of Sacred Heart. I also maintain the parish database, collections and sacrament records, and coordinate baptisms. I support the Director of Religious Formation and Director of Youth Ministry with the administration of the Formation and Confirmation programs.
Administrative Assistant/Bulletin Editor
As an Administrative Assistant for Sacred Heart, I provide secretarial support to the Pastoral Staff, volunteers and parishioners. My responsibilities also include web site updates, coordinating articles and preparing the weekly parish bulletin, flyers, ads, etc.
As the maintenance supervisor I am responsible for insuring that all of the buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition. In addition, I handle all inspections, order supplies, equipment, tools and insure that budget requirements are met. I monitor the court work program and supervise all room use requests and set-ups.
My primary focus is to support Richard Ratliff by keeping our facilities clean. This includes all buildings that are a part of the Sacred Heart campus. Beyond this, I am also responsible for keeping the grounds of the parish clean and well groomed so Sacred Heart looks inviting to all who visit.
